More She Shed - Flower Lamp

What's a garden theme She Shed without a flower lamp!?  When I found this $3 lamp at a garage sale I knew that she had to be mine!

I removed the shade and got right to work!

Shade - BEFORE
I removed the beads and saved them for another project.

Good Bye Beads!

Using flower heads from the craft store, I removed the stem.

Remove the green stem

Remove the petals
Individual petal

Cut the petals in half

Cut the petal section in in half.

Cut the petals in half again

Cut the petal section in half again.

Hot Glue the petals to the shade

One row at a time, glue the petals to the shade

One row at a time

Overlap each row

1 side complete
Glue petals on all 4 sides of the shade.

Line the top edge of the lamp with petals
Glue petals along the top edge of the lamp.

Clean and dry the lamp base
Using plastic bags and tape, cover the lamp cord and the place where the bulb goes.

Cover the socket

Ready for paint
Spray paint the lamp your favorite shade of green

Spray paint
I chose Key Lime Gloss

Chose your favorite Green
After drying over night, my lamp was done!
