Personal Trash Bag for your purse
I work in NYC - the land of big purses and shoulder bags.  EVERYBODY carries some sort of backpack, purse or messenger bag.

The bags are GREAT!  The only problem is that they can tend to collect trash.  Yes the city is filled with trash cans, but the the cans are not always usable.  Especially at the end of the day.

Most of my garbage ends up at the bottom of my purse -which is pretty gross.

Purse trash :-(
My solution to the purse trash problem is a personal trash bag.

Purse Trash Bag
This little trash bag attaches to my purse strap and holds all of my garbage.  The top has an elastic opening so that trash doesn't fall out.  The bottom of the bag rolls and snaps closed so that it's easy to empty.

Once the trash goes into the bag I never have to touch it again!

The bag can hang outside of your purse or remain neatly tucked inside.

Roll up the bottom and snap it closed

I sewed this little bag one afternoon and tied it on to my purse.  Over all measurements are 5" wide and 10" long when rolled closed.  It's lined with leak resistant rip stop fabric.
