A few months ago I got the idea to make a playhouse for my boys. If they where girls we'd call it a doll house, but they're boys. So...it's a play house.
I got lucky and found a naked wood house at a garage sale, so for $20 I brought this baby home.
The house was kind of naked and sad, but I knew that with a little imagination, she'd be just fine.
1 audio book (Jacob Tomsky's Heads in Beds) , $10 worth of craft paint and a trip to Home Depot and BAM!
Now for a peek inside a few of the rooms.
Total cost to make this house = $30
Cost of 20-unpainted peg people = $20
Bringing joy and quiet imaginative play to my household = PRICELESS
